Founder of HireDrop

I'm Igor, the founder of HireDrop. I grew up in Kharkiv, Ukraine, about 30 km from the Russian border. I built HireDrop so a job search stops eating your evenings: you choose the roles, HireDrop does the applying.

Kharkiv, Ukraine

Where I grew up. My father and sister still live there.

Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, launched on February 24, 2022, is still going on. About a fifth of the country is occupied, millions of people have been forced from their homes, and Ukrainians keep working, studying and building through air-raid alerts and blackouts.

Questions

Is this ATS checker really free?

Yes. No account, no card. Drop a PDF and the result shows on the page. Matching keywords against a job posting is free too, and so is the full PDF report with a fix for each problem: it asks only your name, email and country.

What happens to my resume file?

We keep it for 48 hours so you can download your report or move it into a HireDrop account without uploading it again. Then it is deleted, or right away with the Delete now link under your result.

Which applicant tracking systems does it check for?

The parsing rules are the same across the big ones (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, iCIMS): they read text left to right, top to bottom, and skip images. A resume that passes here reads cleanly in all of them.

What score is good enough?

80 or more with nothing under What trips the ATS. A layout problem, like two columns, can scramble your resume even when the score looks fine, so fix those first.

How ATS screening works, step by step: read the guide.
